Codiaeum variegatum var. pictum, or croton, is a colorful, leafy house plant. The multicolor of the shiny, streaked leaves varies with the amount of light received by the plant in different shades of yellow, red, green and orange. It prefers direct sunlight but does not withstand too much heat. The plant is sensitive to cold and easily drips its leaves in a cool and drafty place. Regular humidity is best, but the soil must not be wet all the time. Height about 50 cm, pot size 17 cm.
