Mediterranean rosemary is a popular, traditional spice and medicinal plant. Strong-scented herb has narrow, green, coniferous leaves and its fragrance echoes on coniferous plants. In Finland, rosemary grows in annuals, but can be wintered in a cool indoor environment. In pot growing, the rosemary is watered moderately, and the topsoil must be allowed to dry between irrigations, as rosemary does not withstand continuous wetness. The herb is fertilized once a week with a mild fertilizer solution during the growing season. Height about 35 cm, pot size 14 cm.
