Schefflera arboricola is a popular houseplant due to its lushness, ease of care and adaptability. Its leaves are shiny, long-stemmed and finger-like. The leaves may be dark green, yellow-green or white-green. Schefflera arboricola is watered evenly and moderately. The plant does not tolerate excessive watering, so the surface soil should be allowed to dry slightly between waterings. However, drying out the soil will turn the leaves to yellow.
