Regularity is an asset in Calatheas watering. It would be good for the soil to remain consistently moist but not wet. Water well at once and then allow the surface to dry before the next watering. Pour off any running water on the saucer. Be careful not to over-water Calathea, especially in winter. Begin fertilizing in the spring with increased light around March or April. Apply fertilizer every three to four weeks until August. Height about 12 cm. Pot size 6 cm.
