Scilla violacea, Ledenbouria socialis, like most of its other South African comrades, is a fairly easy-care plant. Sometimes the plant drops its leaves, sometimes grows a bushy bunch of new ones. Abundant light, permeable medium and restrained watering. The very direct sunshine may already be too much, but with a south window in the shade of other plants, an east or west window it thrives. Watering infrequently and the soil should dry between waterings.
