Origin from Peru, Bolivia and Argentina. Easy to care for and fast growing. In nature, it can grow 4 to 6 m high, but in a pot it is well below a meter. Irrigation of opunts is sparse. Fast-growing, so on the other hand do not like long parched seasons in summer. Winter dry. If you winter at room temperature, you can give a little splash of water a few times during the winter.
